Dr. Sameer Joshi

Sameer Joshi has done his Polymer Engineering from Pune University in 1990 and also Ph.D on plastic waste management in 2017. He has is own plastic moulding unit in Pune and is passionate and works for plastics sustainability, environment and circular economy. He is a Guinness World Record Holder for the world’s largest “T” shirt from plastic waste and member of UN environment Marine Litter Action Group.

Mr. Praveen Bhatia

Mr. Praveen Bhatia, being a techno-commercial person, has a rich experience of over three decades in the consulting vertical of tube packaging machines. He is currently a member of the Board of esteemed Swiss group Wifag-Polytype India Marketing Private Limited, which is one of the leaders in the world of packaging and printing machines. Additionally, he is a founding member of the Tube Packaging Association in India.

Mr. Aditya Gupta

He is an Engineering Graduate in the field of Electronics from Bangalore University in 1991 and joined his family business of speciality paper and started manufacturing coated paper meant for flexible packaging. He is technically trained at Indian institute of paper , Saharanpur and now DPT, IIT, Roorkee. He is a Member of Technical Association of Pulp and Paper Institute (TAPPI) since 2004 and Indian pulp and paper technical association of India (IPPTA). He re-introduced cellophane in flexible packaging in India and developed a variety of food grade applications with paper. He also promotes specialised BOPP and bio-compostable resins for flexible and rigid packaging.

Mr. Ramanathan Balasubramanian

Mr Ramanathan has over 20 years experience in sales & marketing of coated steel with specialization on steel for packaging. He has been associated with the Metal Packaging Industry at various levels and has played a key role in driving innovation in Tinplate Packaging. Currently Heads Tinplate Business for JSW Steel and responsible for a business volume 0.6 million tons per annum.

Mr. Vineet Kumar Gupta

Mr. Vineet Kumar Gupta is a Polymer Technologist from HBTI Kanpur and completed his Management education from IMT Ghaziabad. He has around 30 years of experience in Petrochemicals & Polymer Industry, handling wide variety of business functions including Sales and Marketing, Business Development, Customer Services, Product Stewardship, R&D and Innovation and Key Account Management.

Presently, Mr. Gupta is Head – Technical Marketing at HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited and is based at its Head Quarter at Noida. He is instrumental in developing & establishing HMEL’s Petrochemical products.

Prior to joining HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL), Mr. Gupta worked with Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd in various functions.

He has in-depth understanding of the various aspects of Polymer Industry and its vast application segments. He has wide knowledge on various technologies of
Polyethylene & Polypropylene.

He is very active in various prestigious industry bodies such as the FICCI, CII, Plastindia and ICPE etc. Mr. Gupta is member of various BIS committees and
represents BIS in ISO meetings in international platforms. He is also involved in developing various BIS standards. He is the Chairman of Indian Plastic Institute Northern Chapter.

Mr. Gupta is currently spearheading HMEL’s sustainability initiatives including end of-life Plastic Waste Management, Mechanical and Advanced Chemical Recycling of plastics as an endeavor to realize the vision of Circular Economy in the Indian Petrochemical Industry.

Mr Vishal Malhotra is the distinguished Director of Presto Stantest Pvt Ltd, a renowned Company founded by his visionary grandfather in 1983. An alumnus of Delhi Public School.He furthered his academic powers by obtaining a degree in Mechanical Engineering from RVCE, Bangalore, followed by an MBA from the esteemed Indian Institute of Foreign Trade( IIFT), New Delhi. Since joining Presto in 1995, Mr Malhotra has demonstrated unparalleled expertise in the field of quality and material testing equipment manufacturing. His leadership has been instrumental in propelling Presto to the forefront of the industry by earning its reputation for excellence and innovation. Under his stewardship, Presto has garnered a multitude of prestigious Awards including the Coveted Government of India Award for Quality, NABL accreditation and most recently, the ZED Gold Certification for Zero Effect, ZERO defect.

She is the Head of Department in Printing and Packaging Technology at Vidyarthi Griha’s College of Engineering and Technology and GK Pate Institute of Management, Pune having rich Teaching Experience for 28 years, subjects of interest: offset, ink rheology, adhesives technology, press standardization, and packaging.Active researcher, presented papers at National and International Conferences and published 8 international journal papers.
Working on several research projects related to sustainable packaging. One is related to smart labels and the second one is related to printability
of barrier coating on agri-waste paper packaging. Hosted many online and offline conferences, seminars, talk shows, and moderated panel discussions. Invited at various associations: ICMA, A member  of Sectional committee member of the Bureau of Indian Standards of MED 25 and MSD 6, departments for Printing standards. AIFMP awarded her the Presidential Award for Best Teacher and OPA felicitated her for her contribution to the 2021 Print Olympiad and 2024

West Zone Competition.

In May 2018, the Alumni Association of Pune Vidyarthi Griha, in honor of the Founder and Director, the Late Pa. Bha. Kulkarni, awarded her an alumni award for a noteworthy contribution to the Department of printing.Was awarded Best Teacher by the Late VG Joshi Trust in 2011. Before joining the academic field, Prof. Madhura worked in Parksons Packaging and Tata Press.
